Crime in Sports

Crime in Sports

Crime in Sports, a true crime podcast hosted by two comedians (James Pietragallo and Jimmie Whisman) take an unmerciful and hilarious look at professional athletes who have lost the biggest games of their lives... with the law! Crime in Sports does the research, and finds the funny in the epic world of sports true crime. With a new episode every Tuesday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you listen to podcasts!!

“Have you ever wondered about former Olympian Tim Montgomery and his six-figure money laundering scheme? Or why former MLB outfielder Mel Hall had not one, but two pet mountain lions? What about the meth-fueled downhill spiral of NASCAR’s Jeremy Mayfield?” Jason Greenough, a writer from Vanyaland, asks in 2018. Crime in Sports podcast covers these athletes, their upbringing, how they got to the top, and their fall from ‘grace’ every week, for the past 3 years.

When James and Jimmie first started the podcast, they were looking to make a podcast that they wanted to listen to; and there was nothing else like Crime in Sports out there. They thought that a podcast would help build their audience as stand-up comedians by entertaining hardworking people all over the world and making their work days or commutes go by faster.

Come out to their live show at the brand new CB Live! in the North Phoenix/Desert Ridge area. Bring a friend, and get ready for some insanity.
